Who wants to be a WTVP Rainbow Reader?
WTVP is your local public television station here in Central Illinois—your place for PBS KIDS. “Rainbow Readers” is their series of short programs (30 to 60 seconds long) that run locally on air in between regularly-scheduled children’s programming throughout the school year. The reports are modeled after the “for-kids-by-kids” video book reports at the end of each episode of the classic PBS series READING RAINBOW.
To participate, please provide us with the following information. You must register by Sunday, July 19th to participate.
Everyone who signs up will be able to come to the library and give a video book report. The reports will then be placed onto our Facebook page. One “reporter” will be chosen to represent our library. WTVP will work with the “reporter” and his/her family to choose a taping date and time. Tapings take place in the WTVP Studio in downtown Peoria and will be scheduled for
