The Care Trak System is designed to assist Emergency Service in locating at-risk-individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, Autism,
Down's Syndrome, and traumatic brain injuries. In the event these individuals wander away, they can easily be located.
The system consists of a watch-like tracking band worn by the at-risk-individual and a Hand held telemetry tracking antenna using radio waves. Emergency Responders on the ground or in the air track the individual and typically they are found within 30 minutes. If you are interested in learning about this system, please register at the front desk of the library or call the library at 527-4360.
At present time, there is no one registered for this event! We would greatly appreciate anyone who would be willing to come and listen (and learn) to Mr. McCanless teach us how this system works.
