We had seven attendees at the Meditation talk given by Carmen Champion of Main Street Yoga in Bloomington. We learned a brief (and interesting) history of yoga/meditation, why meditation is good for us, and Carmen gave us tips on how to start a meditation routine. Carmen also taught us two breathing exercises and led us in a guided meditation at the end of class. This librarian felt more relaxed (and peaceful) afterwards than I have in a very long time. Thank you to all who attended and to Carmen for taking the time to teach us about meditation.
