Saturday, March 30th and Saturday, April 6th at 10 am to Noon on both days, Jenna Smith, Extension Educator, Nutrition and Wellness, University of Illinois Extension will be at the library to give a course on Meals for a Healthy Heart.
This is a two-part series to help you learn how diet and lifestyle changes can help manage or reduce your risk of high blood pressure and/or cholesterol. We will discuss how to incorporate health-heart practices into your daily choices, from shopping to cooking to meal planning. This class has a cost of $15 and you must be registered in advance. We must have 5 people sign up for this class by Wednesday, March 27th.
