This two-part series can help you learn how diet and lifestyle changes can help manage or reduce your risk of high blood pressure and/or cholesterol. We will discuss how to incorporate heart-healthy practices into your daily choices, from shopping to cooking to meal planning. This class has a cost of $15 and you must be registered in advance. We must have 5 people signed up for this class by Wednesday, March 27th.
Jenna Smith, Extension Educator, Nutrition and Wellness, University of Illinois Extension will be at the library for a two part class called, Meals for a Healthy Heart. If you sign up, you will need to come to both classes - Saturday, March 30 and Saturday, April 6 from 10 am to Noon.
