Local author, Guy Fraker will be at the library to talk about his latest book, Looking for Lincoln in Illinois. This book would be a good guidebook to take with you if you wish to explore Illinois and follow the circuit that Abraham Lincoln rode as a Central Illinois lawyer. We also have a copy of Mr. Fraker's book, Lincoln's Ladder to the Presidency The Eighth Judicial Circuit. I read this book a few years ago and it really made the local connection to Abraham Lincoln come more alive for me. It would be great to read prior to his visit. The library has copies of both books available for checkout.
