We hope to have another class about this topic in the near future to help those caregivers in our area.
Daryl Carlson of the Alzheimer's Association was at the library Saturday morning to give a presentation about communicating with those with Alzheimer's. There were about 7 people in the audience. It is great to have an organization like the Alzheimer's Association which does so much to help caregivers and those with Alzheimer's. There is a helpline which caregivers can call when they are overwhelmed, run into a problem, or just need to talk to someone about the situation they are facing. It is a 24/7 helpline: 800-272-3900. You can also get reliable information and resources at alz.org/care
We hope to have another class about this topic in the near future to help those caregivers in our area.
