Sara Reid was at the library last night teaching others how to use the settings on their DSLR cameras to take better pictures. We learned about the 3 key points in photography shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. She also gave some great tips on many other aspects of photography useful to any photographer, regardless of the type of camera you own. She gave a classroom type discussion in the Drake Family-Community Room and then we went outside to practice taking pictures. She did a tremendous job! We had 5 people which was a very good number for getting personal instruction. We raffled off a gift certificate to Java, Eats & Sweets here in El Paso. A small crowd makes the odds of winning the raffle better, also!
Sara is a professional photographer specializing in newborn and senior portraits. You can check out her work at her website. Thanks for the great class, Sara!
