Our second cookbook club meeting is tomorrow at 6 pm. We will be making recipes from the book, Abraham Lincoln in the Kitchen by Rae Katherine Eighmey. You may still have time to participate if you can come to the library today, browse the book, and make a copy of one of the recipes.
Our menu so far is still Slow Cooked Barbecue Chicken, Soldier Bread, and Almond Pound Cake. So, I guess we have the meat group, the bread group, and most importantly the dessert group!
