He gave us a demonstration of how the system works and tracked his assistant to the part of the library he was hiding in. It was a very interesting presentation and Cynthia and I both learned quite a lot!
Kent McCanless of Woodford County Emergency Services came to the library with an assistant last Thursday to talk about the Care Trak System and some of the other duties of Emergency Services. The Care Trak System was recently purchased by Woodford County. The Care Trak System is designed to assist Emergency Service in locating at-risk-individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, Autism, Down's Syndrome, and traumatic brain injuries. In the event these individuals wander away, they can easily be located. He gave us a demonstration of how the system works and tracked his assistant to the part of the library he was hiding in. It was a very interesting presentation and Cynthia and I both learned quite a lot!
