The Friends of the El Paso District Library are busy preparing for the Christmas Extravaganza this Saturday, December 1st from 9 am to 2 pm at the El Paso District Library. It will be fun for the whole family. You can come to the library and find all kinds of things to do. Events include:
Mike Matjeka of the McLean County Museum of History was at the library last night talking about the importance of railroads to transportation, commerce, industry, travel, national parks, time-keeping, toys, and culture. It was quite delightful! Thank you to our library faithful (and family members) who attended the presentation! We really do appreciate that you are willing to come to the library to attend our events. And we are very thankful to the McLean County Museum of History and their speaker's bureau for providing us with such excellent presentations time and time again!

On Tuesday, November 20th Mike Matejka of the McLean County Museum of History will be at the library to talk about the railroad's impact on the nation's economy, culture, folklore, and children.
You won't want to miss this presentation. The speakers from the McLean County Museum of History always do such a great job and we are very lucky to have them close by and willing to come to our community and talk to us.
