![]() The Scholastic Book Fair takes place in the Drake Family - Heartland Bank Community Room from October 26th (Monday) to October 31st (Saturday). The book fair will be staffed (open) during the times below: Monday - Friday 2:30 PM to 6 PM Saturday 10 AM to 1 PM If you cannot make it to the actual book fair, Online purchases can be made from Wednesday, October 21st through Tuesday, November 3rd here. Come to the library and go to the Drake Family - Heartland Bank Community Room to browse the Scholastic "Monster" Book Fair. This book fair sells children's books, posters, school supplies, and handy gadgets like Chocolate Calculators. The library will get a portion of the proceeds depending upon the total amount purchased during the book fair. The more items we sell, means the bigger the portion the library will get to keep! Shop for all the little bookworms in your life!
The next webinar in the Master Gardener's and the University of Illinois Extension Office present a webinar on Biotic vs Abiotic Diseases. You can view the webinar at the library at 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 22nd. If you have a plant that does not look very healthy, come to the webinar for information to help you diagnose your plant's problem.

The library will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair with children's books on October 26th (Monday) - October 31st (Saturday). Families can come to the library and pick out wonderful books. The library gets a portion of the sales and the more books that are sold, the higher the library's portion. Books make wonderful presents for children so please mark the book fair on your calendar! We plan on staffing the book fair during these hours: Oct. 26th (Monday) - October 30th (Friday) - 2:30 PM to 6 PM Oct. 31st (Saturday) - 10 AM to 1 PM Mark your calendars! Saturday, December 5th is the El Paso Christmas Walk. The Kiddie Bazaar will take place at the library. The Kiddie Bazaar is put on by the Friends of the El Paso Library. Events at the Kiddie Bazaar include gift shopping for children wanting to buy presents for their parents, shopping for adults, a raffle, and a cookie sale. The Kiddie Bazaar is for little kids, families, those who like cookies, and just about everyone else but not for kitties! Sorry, little kitty!
