Andrea Ingwersen of the Woodford County Health Department dropped off some flyers for us this morning. We keep these upstairs in the older part of the library near the magazines. Andrea said that they will also come out and do presentations on various topics. If there is a topic you are interested in please let us know. An example might be a presentation on RADON gas or mold or other health issues. Andrea mentioned that they recently added low-cost laboratory services so that you might possibly be able to get blood drawn in Eureka instead of having to go to Peoria.
We collect Boxtops for Education. We split them between the three schools in El Paso - Jefferson Park, Centennial, & Prairie Christian.
June goes to Prairie Christian, July goes to Jefferson Park, and August goes to Centennial. It's a very easy way to help out the schools in our town!
